World Class Professional Wrestling classes in Edinburgh. Limited to 12 spaces! Age 16+
World class professional wrestling training is now available in Edinburgh. Our classes are open to men and women aged 16+. Head trainer Joe Hendry has performed with the top wrestling organisations in the world for the last 6 years, as well as winning both the Freestyle and Greco Amateur Wrestling British Championships and attaining a black belt in Judo. No other professional wrestler in Europe can offer this variety of training experience to supplement your pro wrestling skills.
Also, having wrestled Kurt Angle, Cody Rhodes, Drew McIntyre, The Young Bucks, Christopher Daniels, Alberto Del Rio, Jack Swagger, Will Ospreay, Marty Scurll and many more, Joe Hendry has the knowledge and experience you need to achieve your goals.
This course is designed specifically for beginners, so no experience
is necessary. Throughout the course, Joe and his assistant coaches will
work with you as a group and one-on-one to ensure that your training is
geared towards your personal goals, whether that's training to keep fit,
working towards wrestling on shows or even building a full-time career in
As well as building your professional wrestling skills and improving
your fitness, we will also teach you the basics of self defence, advise
you on nutrition and build your self-confidence / public speaking skills.
For all pro wrestlers, taking that first step is always the most difficult part. If you've wondered if you could have a future in pro wrestling and have always wanted to give it a go, this 8 week course is the perfect way to find out. There is no upper age limit and everyone is welcome from all backgrounds / genders. Our goal is to build a positive, supportive and safe environment where everyone can contribute, explore the amazing world of pro wrestling and most importantly, have fun doing it!
This class intake is limited to 12 students so book now to secure your place and start your journey in pro wrestling.

The training takes place on the following Sundays
May 3rd, May 10th, May 17th, May 24th, May 31st, June 7th, June 14th and June 21st
Training Takes place from 11:30am - 2:30pm, except the May 31st session which will be held in the ring at Joe's training facility located at Unit 13, Flexspace Bellshill, Belgrave Street, Bellshill, ML4 3NP from 5pm - 8pm. At our Bellshill facility, you will be given the opportunity to participate in short practice matches to ascertain your strengths as well as areas to develop moving forward.
After the 8 week course, we will invite you once again to train in the ring at Joe's Bellshill Facility where you will have the chance to sample our intermediates course, as well as take part in another practice match. You will be given the chance to choose a convenient day / time slot for this.
Upon successful completion of the course, we will then advise you on progressing to our intermediates course.

Lewis Girvan - Assistant Wrestling Coach
In order to give you the variety of different wrestling styles that you need,
a few of your sessions will be led by our assistant coaches.
10+ year veteran and former ICW Tag Team Champion Lewis Girvan is our assistant
wrestling coach. Lewis offers an encyclopedic knowledge of various wrestling styles
and big match experience, including facing off against Kenny Omega and
The Young Bucks, as well as a stand-out performance at The Hydro against current
WWE RAW Superstar Ricochet.
Once dubbed Scotland's best young wrestler, Lewis knows what it's like to remain
calm and focused during high-pressure match situations and how to teach that to
his students. As part of his 5+ years teaching experience, Lewis has been on hand
as Joe's main training partner and big part of his success.
Dave Conrad - Nutrition and Fitness Coach
Included withing your 9 week course will be guidance from Joe's fitness and
nutrition coach Dave Conrad. Dave has helped Joe transform his physique,
strength and cardio vascular performance with a variety or fitness basics,
nutrition plans and pro wrestling based drills that are easy to follow and
highly effective. Dave is also a fellow pro wrestler and regularly competes
at a national level in the sport of amateur wrestling.
Dave runs the highly successful Structural Strength Fitness personal training
business based in Edinburgh and our students will be fortunate to gain the
benefits of his insight as part of our 8 week course.
Terms and Conditions: 1. Your course will take place at Edinburgh's Primal Gym. As mentioned above, one of the training sessions in your 8 week course and a sample of the intermediates course will be held in Bellshill. You will need to get a train to Bellshill or get a lift. 2. Fees for the 8 week course are non-refundable if you drop out for any reason. Refunds will only be provided if the course is cancelled by us. 3. In the unlikely event that one of our coaches become injured or has an emergency, we will reschedule to a convenient alternative date or give you a pro rata refund for the week missed. 4. By purchasing our course, you are declaring that you are happy and able to take part in physical exercise and will be required to sign a waiver stating this is the case. 5. We will NEVER make our students do anything they are uncomfortable with and whilst we will all work hard, you have the right to withdraw or stop at ANY time. Your safety is our absolute priority.
